CEO/Principal

Latoye Brown received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, an Alternative Teaching Certification from Southern University at New Orleans, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of New Orleans. As the CEO, Ms. Brown oversees all staff and operations of Audubon Charter School while directing the overall organization plan and strategy.

Upper School Principal
Adrienne Collopy grew up in a family of educators, so naturally, she vowed never to become one. However, after working as a community organizer, she realized that the best way she could contribute to communities was through spreading a love of learning and empowering future citizens. Adrienne received her B.A. in English from Tulane University, her M.A.T. from Xavier University, and her M.Ed. from Columbia University Teachers College. She has been a proud Rarebird for six years, and loves working in Audubon's creative, diverse, and unique public school environment.
Monique Butler
Monique Butler
Montessori School Director

Monique Martinez Butler is from New Orleans.  She holds a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Medicine from Loyola University, Post-Bac Certification from UNO, and is pursuing an M.Ed from UNO in Educational Administration.  She became a teacher due to her love of children and her desire to make a positive contribution to society. She is the proud mother of two former RareBirds.

Alisa Dupre
Alisa Dupre
Director of Admissions and Operations

Alisa Dupre has been an active member of Audubon Charter School since 2005 when, as an Audubon parent, she helped Audubon secure its original charter and served as the Montessori Parent Representative on the Board. In June 2006, Alisa was hired as the Operations Manager to oversee and manage the two current facilities and admissions. 


Lynn Spearman

Development Specialist

Lynn Spearman has ten years of experience in development, marketing, and community relations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing as well as a Master’s degree in Management. Since joining Audubon in 2015, she has created strategic development plans, streamlined fundraising processes, diversified funding streams, and increased Audubon’s presence in both local and national funder circles. 


Justin Anderson
Justin Anderson
Director of Finance

Justin Anderson is a Certified Public Accountant with experience in nonprofit, governmental accounting, tax, and internal auditing. He joined Audubon in 2015 and oversees the fiscal responsibilities of the organization, including developing and managing the organization budget, reconciling accounts, and managing the human resources within the organization. He received his Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. 


Ann Francois
Ann Francois
French School Director
Ann François is originally from Brussels, Belgium and from Normandie (Alençon), France.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in education from L’Ecole Normale - DeFré in Brussels, Belgium.  She first moved to Louisiana in 2004 through CODOFIL, as a French Immersion Teacher.  She taught French immersion and French as a Second Language for 15 years in Belgium, Switzerland, and Louisiana (Lafayette, Metairie and New Orleans).  During this time, she also completed a Master degree in Romance Languages ​​at the University of New Orleans.
