Latoye Brown, M.Ed
Latoye A. Brown is a 15 year veteran educator from New Orleans.  She holds a B.S. (XULA), Post-Bac Certification (SUNO), MBA (UNO), and an M.Ed (UNO).  She is currently finishing a Ph.D in Educational Administration (UNO).  She became a teacher due to her love of children and her desire to pass on the thirst for learning that was instilled in her by her family and teachers.

Adrienne Collopy, M.Ed
Upper School Administrator-Assistant Principal
Adrienne Collopy grew up in a family of educators, so naturally, she vowed never to become one. However, after working as a community organizer, she realized that the best way she could contribute to communities was through spreading a love of learning and empowering future citizens. Adrienne received her B.A. in English from Tulane University, her M.A.T. from Xavier University, and her M.Ed. from Columbia University Teachers College. She has been a proud Rarebird for six years, and loves working in Audubon's creative, diverse, and unique public school environment.
Chalita Laurent, M.Ed
Student Services Coordinator

Chalita Laurent is from New Orleans, Louisiana.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola University of New Orleans in Elementary Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Orleans. She also completed the School Leadership Center Fellows Program.  Her certifications include:  Academically Gifted, Regular Education, and Reading Specialist.  She has previously worked as a Gifted Resource Teacher and Regular Education Teacher.  She became an educator to touch the lives of young children in a positive way and to inspire them to believe in themselves. She has been an educator for 29 years.

Monique Butler
Montessori School Director

Monique Martinez Butler is from New Orleans.  She holds a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Medicine from Loyola University, Post-Bac Certification from UNO, and is pursuing an M.Ed from UNO in Educational Administration.  She became a teacher due to her love of children and her desire to make a positive contribution to society. She is the proud mother of two former RareBirds.

Alisa Dupre
Director of Admissions and Operations
Alisa Dupre was born and raised in New Orleans, and is a longstanding member of the ACS family. Alisa worked in business marketing and the hotel industry for many years, while her two children attended Audubon. She was a proud Rarebird parent, and is now a proud Rarebird grandparent, who has brought her skills and experience in operations and management to the school she loves. When she is not working, you can find Alisa with her family, reading, or listening to the best musician of all time, Prince.
Lynn Spearman
Development Specialist

Lynn Spearman brings over 10 years of experience in business development, event management, and fundraising to our Rarebird staff. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Master of Science degree in Management from Louisiana State University. Born and raised in New Orleans, Lynn is passionate about helping local schools and non-profits secure the funding they need to improve our community.

Justin Anderson
Director of Finance
Justin Anderson is a native of Monroe, La.  He received his Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  His prior experience was spent working in governmental accounting roles, internal auditing, and tax.  Justin is also a Louisiana licensed Certified Public Accountant.  He and his wife are parents to three beautiful girls.  He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Catherine Bricelj, M.Ed
Lower School Site Administrator-Assistant Principal
Catherine Bricelj taught for 12 years in 3 different countries before getting her Master’s Degree in Science of Education and moving up to being the Director of the French Program at Audubon Charter. Since October 2015, she served as the Assistant Principal of the Lower School and she is enjoying her position. Building strong relationships and promoting a growth Mindset are her priorities.

Lynette Brice
Finance Manager

Lynette T. Brice is a native New Orleanian. She has been in the Finance/Accounting field for over 34 years. She received her B.A. degree from Dominican College in Business Administration. Lynette has post graduate studies in Administration from Xavier University in New Orleans. Ms. Brice is also a Certified Governmental Accountant. She has held the position as Financial Manager of Audubon Charter since 2006. Ms. Brice worked twenty-seven (27) years in the New Orleans Public Schools Administration Office as a Budget Analyst; Accounts Payable Assistant, Interim Supervisor of Payroll and Supervisor in Finance. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority New Orleans Alumnae Chapter and is currently Budget member. 

Ann Francois
French School Director
Ann François is originally from Brussels, Belgium and from Normandie (Alençon), France.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in education from L’Ecole Normale - DeFré in Brussels, Belgium.  She first moved to Louisiana in 2004 through CODOFIL, as a French Immersion Teacher.  She taught French immersion and French as a Second Language for 15 years in Belgium, Switzerland, and Louisiana (Lafayette, Metairie and New Orleans).  During this time, she also completed a Master degree in Romance Languages ​​at the University of New Orleans.  Currently, she is working on her PhD at LSU, focusing on French and Francophone literacy, with a special interest in Belgian and Francophone comic books and graphic novels. She served as the assistant of the Director of the language program at LSU in the Department of French Studies.
Donald J. Julien Jr.
IT Manager

Donald J. Julien Jr., grew up in Uptown New Orleans working in Grocery stores and Real Estate for his Father. Donald was introduced to Technology while serving in the U.S. Army. In the U.S. Army he was a combat soldier and eventually became a Bio-Medical Repair specialists. He earned his degree from Tulane University. Donald loves working in Technology however his passions are hunting, fishing, cooking and gardening.
